New Pictures!!!

I went to FedEx this morning and picked up the actual referral packet!! We didn't think it possible, but she is about ten times more precious in clear, color pictures!! What a little angel baby!! WE CAN'T WAIT to bring her home! As you can tell, her sisters are in love, love, love too!!

We FINALLY got the call!!!

What a wonderful feeling!! We got the call today at 2:56 p.m. to be exact. She is only 6 months old and from the Jiangxi Province. Her birthday is 1/12/10!!! She is absolutely adorable! We are so in love we can't stand it!! Now we just can't wait to go get her and bring her home. The pictures were scanned so they are very hard to see - sorry!!

Phone calls are being made!!

They are finally making phone calls for people in our referral batch!! Our agency only says that they don't know if they will be getting our referral today, tomorrow, or Monday. The anticipation is absolutely killing us!! I am checking the computer every 20 minutes and reading about everyone else getting "THE CALL" and seeing their little ones' faces!! It's almost us!! Come on phone...RING!!!!

Finally a cutoff date is announced!!

Today the rumor queen announced that the unofficial cutoff date for referrals is May 10th, 2006!! That is wonderful for so many people! For the May people who were not expecting to be included in this batch, and for us because that means they are finished and ready to mail them to the USA!!! HURRY, HURRY, HURRY!!! We are happily ready and waiting!! Hopefully it will be Thursday or Friday that we get the call and it won't go into the weekend!! YAY!!!

This wait is getting terrible!

Okay, so we really thought this was going to be the week! We stayed close to home, didn't go on a fabulous river trip with great friends, got all of our things ready for the call and . . . no call. We found out today that nothing has even left China and some officials that have to sign paperwork have been "out of town" and couldn't sign any referrals and that was the hold up. We are trying VERY hard to stay positive here! We are now hoping again that THIS will be the week! Of course it would fall on the week with 2 dentist appointments, 2 birthday parties, 2 night meetings for Daddy, etc. Oh well, at this point what's a little more stress? We just want to see our precious angel's face!!!!
